REMINDER: School Pictures are tomorrow, Tuesday, October 21st in the High School Gym. The Photographer will be starting at 7:00am for WCCC students. They will be able to get their picture prior to departing for the Career Center. We will also have ACT testing tomorrow. Class Meetings are Tuesday, October 28th to accommodate the testing schedule.
Waterford High School will have our Homecoming Spirit Games and pep rally on Friday afternoon (10/10/25) from 1-3pm. High School students that attend WCCC will be dismissed from the career center early to be able to attend. The career center bus will pick up at the earlier time for those that ride. Upon arrival at WHS, WCCC students will need to go to the gym to sign in as present. GO WILDCATS!
REMINDER: We will be having a two-hour early dismissal on Thursday, 9/25. Student Success meetings (formerly parent/teacher conferences) will be that evening from 3:00-8:00 pm. There is still time to sign up for a meeting with your child's teacher. If we have your email on file, you should have received an electronic form to complete to provide parental feedback. If you have not received the form, or would like to schedule a meeting, please contact the high school @ 740-984-2373.
REMINDER: Waterford High School will be having monthly class meetings tomorrow, Tuesday, September 16th. Meetings will take place immediately following the morning tardy bell. The Career Center bus will depart after the conclusion of the meetings.
Parents and Community - The High School Building was under a soft lockdown this morning for the purposes of bringing in drug dogs to sweep the lockers and random classrooms. The building was found to be clean based on these areas. Thank you to Deputy Harlow for organizing this opportunity.
Parent teacher Conferences will be held this Thursday evening. If you would like to schedule a conference with your child’s teacher, please call the HS office 740-984-2373. We will also be holding information sessions to learn more about HS opportunities.

Reminder that the Student Council Food Drive is still taking place. Wednesday morning will be the last opportunity to donate. All donations will stay local and be donated to the Food Pantry in Beverly. Items that they are in need of include: Spaghetti Sauce, Muffin Mixes, Baking Mixes, Soaps, Toilet Paper, and Canned Food. The class that has the highest percentage of donations will receive a pizza party from Vistra. The building goal is 500 items and we are about halfway there. Thank you to all who participate.
Students - All School pictures will be taken tomorrow morning. Seniors - you will have your pictures taken for the wall. Ladies, please wear a tank top under so that you can easily get the drape photo taken. There will also be Class Meetings. Career Center students will have their photos taken first.
Reminder - Class Meetings will be held on Tuesday Morning (9/17). Seniors - Senior Ride Photos will also be taken for the yearbook during this time.
Message from Officer Harlow in regards to the recent threat posts that are being made on social media:
At this time, there has been no known threat made referencing Wolf Creek Local Schools or any other school district in Washington County. I believe the social media post referenced in the original email is the one for Buckeye Local.
I, as well as other members of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, are monitoring this situation closely. If anything is located or brought to our attention that references our district or surrounding districts, I will notify you all immediately.
Just a reminder that the Hocking College Permissions Slips are due tomorrow to attend the trip on Wednesday. Those students who are choosing not to attend will have an alternate assignment that will be due at the end of the day Wednesday.
Tomorrow is the last day to drop off items for the annual food drive. All items that are collected stay within the local community and are distributed from the foodbank in Beverly. Items that they are in need of are spaghetti sauce, baked beans, canned fruit, and toilet paper. The first period class with the highest percentage donated will receive a pizza party. Reminder- tomorrow March 1, 2023 Wolf Creek Local Schools has a regular scheduled early dismissal for Professional Development.
Wolf Creek Bus 6, Janice Schaad, is running approximately 30 min behind schedule.
Beginning tomorrow-- any student who owes more than $10 in lunch charges will not be permitted to charge extras. Please assist in getting lunch charges paid down.
