Attention: 8th grade students not going to D.C. and ALL 7th graders will be going to the State House Building tomorrow! They will leave the school at 8:15 am, travel to Columbus, have provided lunch and explore the State House building. They are allowed to bring a packed lunch if they would like too. All permissions slips were signed through final forms at the beginning of the year. They will return to the school before the end of the day and return by normal bus or pick up protocol. Hope this answers any lingering questions.

WES proudly hosted former Governor Ted Strickland today. He spoke to the students about the United States 250th anniversary. Grades 5-8 were very receptive to his explanations of the importance of this milestone. They asked great questions about his position as Governor and the time he served in DC. It was a great event!

Special thank you to our schools PTO and Paula Oliverio from Artsbridge. They worked together to bring performer Brendan Trojan to our WES community. He is a magician and mentalist who really captivated and connected with our Jr High students. Parents please ask the students about the performance and I hope you see the enthusiasm we did at school today! Have a great day, Admin
