Congratulations to 8th grader William Landaker and 7th Grader Jordan Brooks on being selected to the Appalachian STEM Academy @ Oak Ridge this summer! This is a prestigious honor. In a region spanning from Georgia to NY, only 50 students are selected to each cohort. #WErSTEM

Our 8th grade students did a fantastic job representing WES today on their visit to Hocking College. They explored everything from forestry to nursing and culinary arts to heavy equipment operations. Great job Wildcats!

Congratulations to Ms. Kim Barker for being selected for The Yellowstone Nat'l Park P.D. this June, Mrs. Kylie Duskey for being selected to attend the Cuyahoga Valley Nat'l Park P.D. later this month, and Mrs. Angie Hamrick for being selected for the Ohio STEM Learning Network's Teacher Academy for the 24-25 school year! We are very proud of you. #WErSTEM

Another successful ROAR incentive! The students enjoyed watching the annual 8th Grade vs. Staff Basketball game and the finals of the boys and girls 2 on 2 tournaments! Thank you to all the staff and students for participating and helping make this event possible!

Good afternoon, Wildcat Family! On March 23rd our Local Lions Club is having their Easter Pancake Breakfast. 100% of proceeds will go to their youth scholarship fund. Scholarships are awarded annually to graduates from Waterford and Fort Frye. We hope to see you in two weeks for pancakes, Easter Bunny pictures, and supporting an important cause, our local students.

Here are some pictures from the 5th Grade Planetarium Trip!! The students did a great job reflecting our school and learned interesting concepts about our solar system. Special thanks to the teachers for setting this up with Franci Bolden and Marietta College. WILDCATS ROAR!

Thank you PTO and Greenleaf Landscapes for the rubber mulch! Also, a big thanks goes out to several of our 8th grade leaders who helped us spread it. We are excited it will allow us to be on the playground more. #WEopportunity
