The month of March has been exciting for Mrs. Mast's classroom, as they have begun a project to hold a weekly Coffee Cart fundraiser at school. Students, under the direction of Mrs. Mast, Mrs. Broach, Miss Brittany and Miss Angie, have learned about taking and counting money, making coffee, food preparation and handling, and essentially all the necessary tasks it takes to run a small business. Each week, the students prepare coffee and gather treats like scones, cinnamon rolls, etc. to sell to W.E.S teachers and staff. The students take orders online and then bring the cart around to each classroom to fulfill orders. This is an incredible way for students to learn such valuable life skills. A huge thank you goes out to the entire class for their hard work and to Mrs. Mast, Mrs. Broach, Miss Brittany and Miss Angie for planning and assisting in this incredible project!
