Week In Review

 

Boys Basketball: The Wildcats’ varsity squad defeated Miller 60-29 and JV won 36-28. The varsity team followed it up with a 51-45 win over Eastern while JV put up a big 51-24 win.

The freshman boys basketball team dropped a 42-31 game to River Valley.

The JHS team fell to Fort Frye and defeated St. John’s 49-26.

Girls Basketball:

The varsity girls basketball team defeated Miller 43-12, and dominated Wahama 56-32 on senior night. The Wildcats also came up big on Saturday with a gritty 33-31 win over Parkersburg South, avenging their 25 point home defeat earlier this year. The JV team fell 44-39.

The 8th grade girls lost 31-12, and 7th grade fell 23-12 to Fort Frye. The 8th grade team fell to Warren in the first round of the Washington County Championships, and Waterford was upset in the semifinals of the 7th grade bracket. 

Wrestling: Wrestling traveled over to Fort Frye during the school day and came up big with a great win in front of a packed house, and followed up with a great performance at home against Belpre and Eastern. Congrats on a big time win! The JHS wrestlers finished 15th at New Lexington where they faced some big teams and tough competition. Dylan Taylor finished 2nd, Ethan Beardmore 4th and Coen Wagner 5th
