Week In Review

Boys Basketball: 

The varsity team earned a gritty 57-53 road win at Belpre, while the JV team dropped a tight 35-32 contest.

The freshman team dropped a 40-11 decision at Warren to open their season.

The 7th grade team started off the week with a 40-32 loss to Pleasants County, while the 8th grade team suffered a 51-39 defeat.

Girls Basketball: 

The varsity team started off the week with a blistering 60-13 win over Southern. They followed it up with a hard fought 33-24 win over Miller on Thursday.


The 7th grade team came away with a big 28-25 win over the cross town rival, while the 8th grade team fell 40-16. The 8th grade team had the chance to be the lead act against Miller prior to the varsity game, and came away with a dominant 29-8 win on the road.


Wrestling: 

The varsity team finished 7th at Warren with Haden Offenberger being named the champion of the 145 lb weight class. Andrew Taylor (132 lb) finished 3rd, Tyson Moore (113 lb) and David Simpson (132 lb) finished 4th and Ethan Root (160 lb) finished 6th.


The JHS team finished 4th as a team at Warren with Coen Wagner (128 lb) winning his class. Judson Cooper (172 lb) and Lane Cline (122 lb) finished second in their class while Ethan Beardmore (116 lb) and Ivan Clark (134 lb) finished third.
